
Salcombe - An idyllic little haven tucked away in a secluded little corner of south Devon. We go for the geography mostly - a natural inlet that is estuary to a river and a few small creeks, each side lined with beautiful beaches, forest paths, and scenic views. We spend the time completely without car.. each part of the area accessed by foot or by one of several small ferry-boats...
The Yacht crowd obviously appreciate the waterways too, as it is often populated by some very nice vessels... this means there's no shortage of nice restaurants, cafes & pubs in which to while away any rainy days...
